What is the dropbox?

The dropbox is an online tool for fans to share their creative ideas for the performance they want to see. This may take many, many forms: images or videos for projection in sync to certain songs; audio files with sounds for inclusion in the performance or, if you are really skilled, perhaps a song remix; Word or text documents with alternate lyrics. Be as bold and creative as you can.
One reason for the dropbox is that the creativity inspired in you by the performer is likely to be just as interesting as the original material. In that sense, the dropbox is a creative outlet and a place for fans to share their own creations.
The other reason for the dropbox is that we want to make live performances better. The diversity of ideas and inputs from a whole fanbase will be far superior to the ideas of any one band or production team retained to design a show.

Feeling inspired?
If any contribution is to be used in a live performance environment it must be thought out and it must be of a very high quality. Most importantly, it must be an original to which no-one else can claim copyright but you. Lay your ideas out before submitting anything and make sure you refine your ideas completely so that what you upload is your best work.
Ready to submit something?
Make sure that you've bid on that event first: a bid unlocks the dropbox uploader. When uploading your file, make sure to provide a detailed description of how the creation you are uploading would be used in a real show. Remember, we always store the original version of your contribution so if the encoded version sounds more tinny or looks more grainy, don't worry: we've got the pristine original on our servers.
Done with uploading?
Now you should check out what others are doing. Rate their contributions and give frank and useful feedback. Got more ideas? Upload them -- there's no limit to how much or how many times you can upload to an event you have bid on.
