Not sure how NotPaul works?
Haven't used the dropbox yet?
Find out what it is all about.

Why?

So what do I need to say??? I've been suffering from Alive 2007 withdrawl for over a year now. Wish I'd sneaked in a trip to Guadalajara to see some extra shows. So I'm seriously hoping there will be a reprisal and an Alive 2009 so that I can get me a fix of some robot love (wait that's an Alex Empire song...).

Anyway, as y'all know by now, it started in Coachella in 2006 when Daft Punk busted out the robot suits (no surprise) and this kick-ass pyramid and amazing lighting set-up (a surprise) and totally mind-boggled the Sahara tent. It was a defining moment in the lives of everyone in attendance. Especially me. I've researched that set and set-up beyond belief or good mental health.... it's sort of weird at this point.... I know the name of the CEO whose company provide the LED tubes for the grid behind the pyramid... and the video producers who did a lot of the visuals that appeared on the pyramid itself. And you all must know by now how the helmets and suits came to be way back. But do you know how to get them to light up? It's pretty easy -- there's a great instructable about it if you want to recreate some LED magic for your PJs.

Anyway, I digress. Let's not muck around when such important matters need to be addressed. We all want to see this show real bad and we all know it. Face value for the forum show had tickets pegged at $50 + a bunch of ticketmaster fees so i suggest that you bid $70 ish so we can all enjoy some daft awesomeness at least one more time.

nice one. has anyone thoughts about the dropbox could be used for this one... they projected a ton of images onto the pyramid during the Human After All piece of Alive 2007 so I guess photos and videos could fly. And video could probably be played on the LED screen behind the pyramind. Cool!

How come this isn't swamped with Daft Punk fans? This would be so robot-cool.
