As many people who are fans of Volto are also fans of Tool being that Danny Carry (of tool) is also the drummer for Volto. My first Volto show was admittedly to see danny carry do magic on the drums up close and personal since it was a venue of maybe 150 at La-va-Lee in Studio city. What i saw was probably one of the most diversely talented 4-some id seen, maybe ever. Kirk Covington is pretty incredible. At one point in the show had a drum off with Danny and id have to say it was damn close! (see attached video on right) Anyway, ill save la-va-lee details for a review.
Mission here is to get these guys to perform a bit more! They only have about one show every couple months. And they dont venture out of LA. Thats just not fair to keep the good tunes bottled up. Get these guys in San Diego! Join this event!
