Why?
Rage's first show was supposedly in the living room of one of Tim C's buddies. I guess that would have been in 91 or early 92. i think it's time Rage played orange county again, a home-coming and au-revoir at same time.
rage live is something special. the crowd is diverse, the front 20-50 rows are intense and pretty dangerous to be in unless your body can withstand intense pressure and lots moshing. the band perform with same fervour and intensity that makes their albums inspiring and forceful. a rage show wakes you up. the whole issue of why rage is sort of a moot one. of course rage. it's more why oc?
it's a little ironic given the stereotype of orange county that one of the most defiant and sort of marxist bands was largely spawned here. but oc is a musical heaven. its a big feeder for the la punk scene has been for as long as there has been punk.
rage playing in OC (not just LA) would be pretty special and needless to say, i'm totally down.
