Why?

The Verve is the inspiration behind MANY of today's modern rockers. The bridge the gap between acts of old, like the beetles, pink floyd and led zepplin and the modern day sound they helped to form. with their new album "Fourth", they still continue to push forward and push our minds into amazing musical soundscapes and atmospheres rarely heard in rock music. Their live act is NOT to disappoint, as front man, RIchard Ashcroft is in LOVE with the music, the act, the performance. Its quite wonderful altogether... a special experience and one i would like to have SOON.

what does the $15.00 go toward...? how about just a petition to show whichever company supporting their tour that there's interest in the area for a show of theirs? can't see how they wouldn't see this as oasis and other british acts sell out all the time here and there's a huge college base.

Right -- you are actually bidding on a ticket for the show BUT before the concert has been scheduled. And there's no charge to your card unless the concert does get scheduled and your bid is successful. So it's a risk-free way for fans to help create the show itself if there's enough of us.
