Believe me, Fugazi are not going to reunite because of this. If they ever do decide to play together again, it'll be because they want to, not because of desperate pleas like this. And that is extremely unlikely. So why don't you stop wasting your time on this, and maybe order one of their live CDs or downloads! |

this is very true... right though 2000, that was still their practice. BUT, as i understand NotPaul the $15 is an arbitrary sitewide minimum but IF the band settles through notpaul, the band/promoter can settle at any price. admins, is that right? more to the point -- why wouldn't fans want to help organize something? isn't that what the whole fugazi spirit is about? i won't lose sleep if the show doesn't happen (that's up to the band and rightly so) but i love the ideas of fans being involved and helping inspire the band (just like they've inspired us). and if they decide to charge $15 because it's 2008 or 2009 then i'm willing to pay that... that's why the bid is blind. there shouldn't be anything sacred as long as i get to define my own limits. |

I'm pretty sure they have no interest in reuniting (with the possible exception of Joe Lally). If they wanted to play together again, they would. Why don't you spend your time working on something realistic, like stopping the genocide in Darfur or reducing poverty in the US and worldwide? Why do you waste your time and energy trying to make something happen that is realistically not gonna happen? Do you really have that much free time? |
