Boards of Canada (BoC) is Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin Sandison. BoC is signed to Warp Records in the UK and have also released music on Autechre's Scam Records and BoC's own Music 70 imprint. The band's name was inspired by the National Film Boards of Canada. The Sandison brothers grew up in Canada but moved to Scotland at a young age and live in the greater Edinburgh area now.
